Project ACES
The
aim of the conference was a meeting of all school representatives,
whose projects have been awarded an ACES grant. Furthermore it should have started a
closer cooperation among all project partners and it should have lead to specification of project
tasks which will be carried out in the following months. During the
week we could have encountered and identify different aspects of diversity,
such as cultural, language, national, political, or religious. After
visiting many interesting workshops we could have realised that everybody of
us is unique in some aspect and the colour of our skin or social
background should definitely not be a handicap in our lives,
considering that we will all respect our differences. The topic of our
project is looking for similarities and differences between Czechs and
Slovaks who used to live in one country twenty years ago. We believe
that at the end of the project we will confirm, that we are still very
similar and besides that we will find new friends in Europe.
